モナッシュ大学(Monash University)概要
モナッシュ大学(Monash University)は、マレーシアに初めて海外大学として分校を開設した世界ランキング60位(2017年度)のオーストラリアの名門大学です。
マレーシアの私立大学の特徴である、ADTP(アメリカンディグリートランスファープログラム)やツイニングプログラム、他大学の学位も同時取得できるダブルディグリープログラムはありませんが、オーストラリア6箇所及び南アフリカにあるモナッシュ大学のキャンパスに1～2学期(約4～8ヶ月)留学できるインターキャンパス制度があります。
また、世界の名だたる有名大学と提携を結んでおり、1学期(約4ヶ月)留学する制度があります。
【語学コース】
英語力が大学入学基準に少し届かない学生専用コースです。そのため、一般英語(英会話)には対応していません。
【学部編入準備プログラム】
高校卒業時点での成績が学士課程への入学基準を満たしていなかった場合の救済措置として生まれたプログラムです。高校の成績の入学基準は学士課程より低く、条件を満たせば１年後に学士課程の２年次へ編入できます。

モナッシュ大学(Monashy University)は、サンウェイグループで形成されている町の中にあります。エリア内には、ショッピングセンターのイオンがあるサンウェイピラミッドショッピングモール、アミューズメントパークのサンウェイラグーン、リゾート高級ホテルのサンウェイリゾートホテル&スパ、ピラミッドタワーホテル等があります。各施設には専用歩道橋でつながっていますし、各施設を巡る無料シャトルバスもあります。
日常生活から娯楽まで非常に便利で快適な住環境が整っています。
位置的には、クアラルンプール郊外の大学が多く集まるエリアにあります。同じエリアには、サンウェイ大学、テイラーズ大学、INTIインターナショナル大学等があります。サンウェイ大学には専用歩道橋で結ばれています。

- モナッシュ大学のキャンパス内にありますが、入口には守衛さんもおり安心してご利用いただけます。火災防止のため、キッチンにはコンロがありませんので、自炊はできません。洗濯は、一定量までは無料でクリーニングに出す事ができます。室内には、洗濯機がないため基準を越えた場合は、コインランドリーを利用する事になります。

- サンウェイ大学のキャンパス内にありますが、モナッシュ大学の学生も利用できます。モナッシュ大学からサンウェイ大学までは専用の歩道橋で結ばれています。モナッシュ大学、サンウェイ大学の各歩道橋入口には守衛さんもいて夜遅くなっても安心して学校と寮の間を行き来できます。4人部屋は窓側と内側で家賃が異なります。マレーシアは常夏の国ですが、天井ファンのみでエアコンがついていません。暑さに耐えきれない場合は、他の寮に移動する事も可能ですが、その際には再度手続き費用が発生しますのでご注意下さい。火災防止のため、キッチンにはコンロがありませんので、自炊はできません。
